Something in the weather or the air or maybe my yummy lunch today gave me an ithcin to revisit the former days of blog writing. I am a little overwhelmed at this notion and my fingers are racing all over the board to try and capsize oh....the past 4 months only! Here are some words that come to mind for the recap:
-Physical therapy 2X's week
-burnt popcorn, daily, around 3:30 (yes, I like it burnt)
-Lot's of so called 'meetings and closings' but somehow no business to prove these 'offsite meetings'
-Our new yard man, Brian. He is the only yard man I know that sets up an entire sound system in the driveway every other Friday before he gets to work for his listening pleasure. We also get personal mail from him. Major kuddos!
-A few babysitting opportunities for the younger Nicholson child who thinks I was, still am, and will always be a little dorky
-New roommate: And who would have thought her name would be some form of Katherine? I am glad my mom named me after a doll who pees in her pants. (The Terrace now consists of Katie, Catie and Kat (Katherine)
-New amigos. Lots of new friends who seemed like old friends immediatly. What a blessing! I still have a few good months before they realize I have some peculiar habits. Or maybe everyone likes to count all of the letters in the names of people they meet and then have to have that number be an even number????
-Several lonely Friday nights. Yep, I did this one on purpose. Not sure why yet but I know it was good for me.
-New hobbies each month: You got it - bike in March, bathing suit and flippers in April, dance studio in May (that one even lasted through June), kickboxing studio in July, personal trainer in August, hiking in September and now pilates. Do you think I am fickle?
-Family dinner every Tuesday night. This one will get it's own entry one day. This is our exploratory cooking night preparing us for future cooking ventures with kids and a family (of course we threaten then that you wont have to wear clothes under the apron. Shhh!)
-Night time walks around the Hood. This has become one of my favorites everynight. Great quiet/singing/dancing/crying/praying time. If you have seen me walking through Brookhaven - yes, I may look crazy and yes, i am talking to myself. Also, I hold my arms out for 5 minutes at a time as it works your shoulders. 2 for 1!
-Job changes????? to be continued.....
It feels great to be back! And, of course it is Thursday - my favorite of all days! Thursdays make my heart do somersaults.
